Can I use vocals or samples from Splice or other sample libraries?

No, all tracks submitted must be 100% original or cleared for commercial use. Avoid unlicensed samples, loops, or vocals from sample packs unless you own the rights or have proper clearance. This ensures we can confidently license your music without legal issues.

What happens if my track gets placed elsewhere while it’s with Astronic?

If your track is under a non-exclusive agreement with us, you can continue licensing it independently or through other platforms. Just keep us informed to avoid conflicts. For exclusive deals, the contract will specify usage restrictions.

How long does it take to get feedback after submitting a track?

Feedback times vary depending on current project volume but typically range from 1 to 3 weeks. We encourage artists to be patient and stay active in Discord for updates.

What if my track isn’t accepted for a brief?

No worries! We’ll send your track back to you so you retain full ownership. Use the feedback to improve or pitch the track elsewhere. Many successful placements come after multiple submissions and refinements.

Do I need to provide stems upfront?

Not at pitching stage. Only a final WAV is needed initially. Stems are requested only after your track is approved for licensing.

How do I get paid?

Payments from sync deals are split 50/50 between you and Astronic Media. You’ll receive your share via the payment method agreed upon in your contract, after all licensing and royalty payments are collected.

Can I collaborate with other artists in the Astronic network?

Absolutely! We encourage collaboration. You can be assigned to group channels on Discord and connect with other artists for joint projects and briefs.

How do I join the Discord server?

You’ll receive an invitation link after signing your NDA and initial contracts. Make sure to read the rules and pin a moderator to get your dedicated artist channel.
