Getting Started
Step 4: Delivery Guidelines – Stems
Objects and arrays are fundamental data structures in JavaScript. Objects store data in key-value pairs, while arrays hold ordered collections of values.
Step 4: Delivery Guidelines – Stems
Delivering music properly is key to keeping things smooth and professional on the client side. Below are the two phases of the delivery process and how to handle each one.
📤 Phase One: Pitching
At this stage, fully rendered stems are not required. We only need the final WAV file of your track to pitch to clients and partners.
However, please keep your session files backed up — if your track is accepted, you’ll be asked to deliver stems later.
🔧 Steps to Follow:
Render a WAV file of the track (44.1 kHz, 16-bit or 24-bit preferred).
Create a Google Drive folder inside the shared Astronic Drive and name it after your track (e.g.,
Track Name
).Upload the WAV file into a subfolder called
Final WAV
within that track folder.Fill out the Approved Form and include the Google Drive link where stems will eventually be uploaded.
*There will be times where stems may need to be rendered differently, you will receive additional instructions in those cases.
✅ Phase Two: Accepted
Once a client or contact approves your track for licensing or exclusive pitching, you will receive specific instructions on how to deliver stems.
⚠️ Important: Do not render or upload stems until we confirm the track has been accepted — requirements vary by client.
🔧 Steps to Follow:
Wait for detailed stem instructions from the Astronic staff team.
Render and organize stems based on the provided guidelines (e.g., instrumental, vocal-only, drums, FX, etc.).
Upload stems into the same Google Drive folder used in Phase One — no ZIP files, please. Clearly organize files in labeled folders.
Share the updated Google Drive link in your private artist or composer channel on Discord to notify us.
